Software Engineer
Oriontek,
Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and test customized applications
and software solutions. The role involves collaborating with architects and
product owners to prioritize tasks, drive enhancements, and uphold best
practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities
include participating in planning sessions, providing progress updates to
stakeholders, resolving issues, conducting code reviews, and enhancing team
productivity while delivering high-quality software aligned with business
objectives. Exposure in technologies such as Python, Splunk, Flask, PySpark,
AWS, Docker, Teradata SQL, and Golang.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree
(or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science, Computer Applications,
Information Technology, Information Systems, Science, Technology, Business,
Engineering (any), or a related field. Full-time
(40 hrs/week), non-telecommuting position based in Suwanee, GA, and at various
unanticipated locations within the Suwanee MSA. Approximately 20%
travel/relocation within the Suwanee Metropolitan
Statistical Area (MSA), depending on factors such as the project phases -whether initial setup or
final implementation or client requirements, and the nature of the project. Work
