Software Engineer
Oriontek
Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to manage the entire lifecycle of custom
applications and software solutions, including analysis, design, development,
testing, implementation, and maintenance. Key responsibilities include
collaborating with architects and product owners to prioritize tasks, driving
continuous improvement through enhancements and best practices, actively
participating in planning sessions, providing progress updates to stakeholders,
resolving issues, conducting code reviews, and contributing to a
high-performing team dedicated to delivering high-quality software aligned with
business objectives.
Applicants
must have a minimum of 1 year of IT work experience and must demonstrate
proficiency with technologies and tools including Python, AWS, Teradata SQL,
Tableau, Birst, QuickSight, Splunk, PySpark, Docker, Bootstrap, Flask, and
Golang.
A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent
foreign education) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Science, Technology, Business, Engineering
(any), or a related field is required. Equivalent combinations of education, training,
and experience will be considered. Full-time (40 hrs/week), non-telecommuting
position based in Suwanee, GA, and at various unanticipated sites within the
Suwanee MSA. Approximately 20% travel/relocation within
the Suwanee Metropolitan Statistical
Area (MSA), depending on factors such as the project phases -whether initial setup or
final implementation or client requirements, and the nature of the project. Work
